MOST OF BRIDGETOWN’S streets and alleys are now safer places to traverse at night because of a project to flood The City with bright lights.

And Acting Commissioner of Police Oral Williams has given his stamp of approval to the new lighting, saying it would deter “predators” who operated under the cover of darkness.

The lighting project is part of the Barbados Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCCI) and FLOW Revitalisation of Bridgetown initiative.
