National Services Week to focus on creative sector

THE BARBADOS COALITION OF SERVICE INDUSTRIES will hold its annual National Services Week of activities from November 9 to 13.

The week will focus on the creative sector and how the business side of it can be developed. 

Meanwhile, Andre Hoyte, Senior Business Development Officer, Cultural Industries Development Authority, said the week would also lend to the local cultural industries moving to the next level of continuous economic growth.

There will be two creative industries workshops and an education event facilitated by the Student Centre, targeting secondary school children and helping them to better choose their educational paths if they want to be involved in the sector.

The Association of Music Entrepreneurs, led by Andrew Daniel, will lead on the Sunset Concert. (LK)
