High hopes for future for EPA

AS BARBADOS CELEBRATES the seventh anniversary of its signing of the Economic Partnership Agreement, the European Union ambassador and the island’s Minister of International Business have high hopes for the future of the trade agreement.

Mikael Barfod and Donville Inniss were speaking at a press briefing the Ministry’s Baobab Towers offices this morning.

Barfod said the signatories should look forward to the next seven years of growth after seven years of “lean”, while Inniss says smaller businesses should take advantage of the EPA. (HLE)
