THE BARBADOS WORKERS’ UNION (BWU) and top officials of the Central Bank of Barbados will meet this morning to discuss the grievances of protesting bank employees.
The Central Bank staff, who are now into their third day of protest, walked off the job last Friday, saying they would remain off the job until their complaints were addressed.
BWU general secretary Toni Moore said workers had the full support of the union.
She added there were senior members of the management team on duty at the bank and she contended that a meeting should have been possible before today.
