We need BWU, says CTUSAB

Come back on board. We need you.

That’s the word from this country’s umbrella body for trade unions, to the Barbados Workers’ Union (BWU).

President of the Congress of Trade Unions and Staff Associations of Barbados (CTUSAB), Cedric Murrell, has admitted the entity is a weakened force without the country’s largest private sector union, and it’s time for the BWU to come back to the fold to help make the Social Partnership more relevant again.

Murrell has made the call days before CTUSAB is scheduled to stage its mid-term delegates conference, which starts on Thursday.
