FOLLOWING SHOCKING ALLEGATIONS of physical and sexual abuse involving children in a rural family, Minister of Social Care Steve Blackett has summoned an urgent meeting of the top brass of the Child Care Board (CCB) today.
He made the revelation to the DAILY NATION yesterday after the SUNDAY SUN uncovered long-running claims physical abuse of three children. Their stepfather has also been charged with raping one of the siblings.
Blackett said he expected to be updated on the case involving the three children.
According to the SUNDAY SUN investigation, their father said he fought for six years to gain custody of his three children, after receiving reports that they were being abused. (LK)
