Bailey gets his wish

YOUNG national footballer Ranaldo Bailey is testament to the saying “perseverance seldom fails”.

After having to turn down a chance to fulfill his dream of playing professional football a month ago, due to reasons off the pitch, the 19-year-old centre back has signed his first professional contract.

Bailey has signed for Trinidad and Tobago Pro League club Morvant Caledonia United for the upcoming 2015-2016 season.

Bailey recently returned from Northern Ireland disappointed and frustrated that he could not accept the contract offered by Northern Ireland Premiership club Ballymena F.C due to the club’s financial situation, but the humble young man said he never gave up the fight and knew that God would pave a way for him to achieve his goals.
