HAVING finished no lower than second in his last four starts the extremely versatile Sirius Black, will start as the raging hot favourite to win today’s feature race at the Garrison Savannah on the Barbados Turf Club’s ninth day of its second season.
The Victor Cheeseman-trained horse will move off from post number six in the 1 100 metres Grade III Harmony General Insurance Breeders’ Sprint in Memory of Francis Cozier.
With only a five-pound sex allowance separating all, Sirius Black’s weight of 132 pounds should not pose a problem.
His main opposition looks to be the mare Vanity Affair, who enters the race off consecutive wins including one at the trip.
