Beachgoers: Be our guard

Last Thursday, Leondre Francis, 21, of Horse Hill, St Joseph, died on arrival at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital after getting into difficulty while in the company of a friend around 4 p.m. Lifeguards performed CPR and he was taken to hospital. On May 15, Christina Reid, a 13-year-old student of Springer Memorial School, also lost her life around 1:45 p.m. She hailed from Gemswick, St Philip. (DB)
