Man dies after ingesting ‘green substance’

A St Michael man is dead after ingesting what appears to have been a poisonous substance.

Police are carrying out investigations into the unnatural death of 48-year-old Ezric Francis of Chelston Avenue, St Michael.

They responded to the scene around 10 a.m. today where they were told he had ingested something poisonous. Police recovered a plastic cup and a container with a green substance.

Francis was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance. He succumbed around 3 p.m. (PR/SAT)
