Concern over B’s

CONCERNS ARE GROWING among some in the recycling business about developments at B’s Recycling.

One client, who reported he delivered approximately 1 400 bottles to the Cane Garden, St Thomas facility on July 28, said he has been unable to secure payment for the recyclable material even after several visits to the facility and countless phone calls.

Christ Church resident William Smith told the DAILY NATION that he had been taking plastic and glass bottles to B’s Recycling for several years without any issues.

Smith said he followed the usual process of having his bottles counted, showed his identification card, before receiving a ticket he was required to take to the cashier for payment. It was at that point, Smith said, he was told by the cashier that she did not have enough cash to satisfy the $140 bill.
