SADA WILLIAMS is back better than ever.
There’s no doubt she’s returned to form now, as Barbados’ bright sprinting prospect bagged a big silver medal on Friday night after placing second in the women’s 400 metres of the Pan American Junior Championships in Edmonton, Canada.
Competing against the best of the Western Hemisphere, Williams ran a spirited 52.75 seconds in lane six to finish behind Canadian Kendra Clarke, who won in 52.55.
The medal-winning feat comes just months after the Coleridge & Parry schoolgirl picked up an untimely injury at the Barbados Secondary Schools’ Athletic Championships, which unfortunately ruled her out of the CARIFTA Games. (JM)
