Campaign calls on Sinckler for help

RATHER THAN having all funding for development resources going towards debt financing, the local arm of the Action 2015 Caribbean Campaign has called on Minster of Finance Chris Sinckler to see that some of the resources are allocated to social services for the average Barbadian.

Campaign coordinator Kai-Ann Skeete presented Sinckler with 400 of the signed petition postcards at Government Headquarters, Bay Street, yesterday.

“As you sit in your negotiations across the world, as you sit and you secure development financing, there is a need to ensure that you provide resources for the people and for the planet,” she told Sinckler.
