A pilot’s nightmare

Share post:

THE LAST THING any pilot wants to know is that he is going to crash, but that was the reality facing Richard Terrelonge on Sunday.

The experienced pilot and flight instructor did not panic, however.

Terrelonge, resting comfortably yesterday at his Dover, Christ Church home, told the MIDWEEK NATION that he did everything he could after his light plane lost engine power and the crash was beyond his control.

Fortunately he received only relatively minor injuries and is contemplating whether or not he will fly again.

His major concern, however, is for the destroyed plane as it was the only one in Barbados available for rental for practice flights.
