THE LEVEL OF PRESENTATIONS at this year’s MQI/98.1 FM Soca Royale were enhanced by all the performances taking place in the night, said Minister of Culture Stephen Lashley.
“We can see from the crowd response and certainly from the production of the performances that has certainly resonated with the crowds here. It looks good, it augurs well for the excitement that is necessary to get a competition going. We see the pyrotechnics being used by the artistes and I think that it is great and very well received,” he said.
Speaking from Bushy Park, Lashley said the new time was influenced by the entertainers who wanted to have both competitions in the night, “and we responded to that”. (LK)
