IT’S UP in the air whether Customs officers will continue with their go-slow into the coming week.
This after a planned meeting between the National Union of Public Workers and the Barbados Workers’ Union did not come off this afternoon.
Acting NUPW General Secretary Roslyn Smith said, “I can’t speak to that,” when asked if Customs officers would be continuing with their industrial action, that has negatively affected manufacturers and business people.
“We never had an opportunity to discuss it,” she explained. (HLE)
