FORMER president George LasCaris has launched a scathing attack at the way the Barbados Football Association (BFA) under the leadership of Randy Harris is administering the sport.
Noting that three persons who held the post of general secretary had resigned since Harris became president in 2012, LasCaris said Barbados’ expulsion from the World Cup for playing an ineligible player in a second round qualifying match against Aruba, is another example of administrative mismangement.
“The recent debacle in local football has rightly raised the ire of all football fans and deserves the full condemnation of the public at large. We have quickly become the laughing stock of the entire CONCACAF area,” LasCaris said in a letter to MIDWEEK SPORT.
