ALTHOUGH my boyfriend says he will marry me one day, I heard he told his friends that when he marries, it will be a girl who has not been knocking herself around.
I have not been knocking myself around but we did have sex after he persuaded me that that was a sure way to prove I love him.
After hearing him say that Christine, it makes me think that now he will never marry me. We have been seeing each other for seven years and I am beginning to feel sorry I’ve done so much to please him. What do you think?

Seven years is a rather long time to be tied down to one person without a commitment.
It seems to me that right now you’ll need to have a heart to heart conversation with your boyfriend to see if he truly intends to walk with you down the aisle.
There are some men who are prepared to run around with as many women as they can, but they are only prepared to have one wife and that wife had better be a virgin. I guess from your vantage point it would appear as though your boyfriend has got what he wanted and if marriage is what you are after, you’re not likely to find it with him.
Having that discussion should clear up any uncertainties
There’s absolutely no sense trying now to be sorry about the past. However, either way, you should learn from this experience and not be so gullible in the future.
