AMANDA HAYWOOD is ready to squash her opponents and win more silverware at the Junior Caribbean Squash Championships starting on Saturday in Barbados.

Haywood, the Under-15 female champion and Barbados girls’ captain who has graduated to the Under-17 division, is passionate about her sport.

She has been physically and mentally preparing herself for the championships.

“I just train hard. I know what I have to do on the court, so I just mentally prepare,” she told SUNSPORT.

“You usually know who you’re playing, you see them before so you try to watch them and find their weaknesses.”
