PROPOSED RULE CHANGES to the Barbados Cricket Association (BCA) have been no-balled by the immediate past chairman of its rules committee.
Gregory Nicholls, a former honorary secretary, described the majority of the changes to be considered by tomorrow’s extraordinary general meeting as “cosmetic” and said they failed to adequately deal with the question of corporate governance.
Before demitting office two years ago, Nicholls said he left the BCA draft rules, which he said were not a reflection of the draft that was circulated ahead of the meeting, which reports yesterday suggested could be postponed.
