MINISTER OF LABOUR Senator Dr Esther Byer has called for level heads to reign, stating that tomorrow’s islandwide strike will be of no benefit to anyone.
Senator Byer, who is also chair of the subcommittee of the Social Partnership, said there should have been more consultation before there was even talk of a national strike and/or protest.
Speaking to the media before the final session of the CARICOM Heads of Government of CARICOM at the Hilton Barbados Resort yesterday, she stressed that there was a process to deal with these matters and she did not believe that all processes were exhausted. (SDB Media)
