Red hot Greggmar Swift doesn’t plan to take any prisoners in the men’s 110 metres hurdles next weekend at the National Championships sponsored by the Athletics Association of Barbados.
“This is my job and I can’t afford to get fired right now, so from the preliminaries at Nationals it will be all guns blazing,” Swift told SUNSPORT after a recent training session at the National Stadium.
The recently turned professional explained why Nationals is a very special event for him.
“Every year, I look forward to this race because I want to come home and show my family and friends and all the track and field supporters what I’ve been able to do during the year,” he said. “In fact, this is the most I’ve been so excited for Nationals ever.”
