GOVERNMENT MP James Paul is the latest prominent Barbadian to criticise a new calypso called Sugar Daddy.

Paul said the Captain Sawyer song with a sugar daddy who insisted on getting “something for something” represented a “cannibalism of the spirit of generosity”.

Outgoing president of the National Organisation of Women Marilyn Rice- Bowen recently complained that the lyrics of the tune cast Barbadian women in an unfavourable light. (TY)
