Sunset concert full of stars

DESPITE SCATTERED SHOWERS in the latter partof the Gospelfest Sunset Concert in Independence Square last Wednesday evening, supporters came out in their numbers to worship and enjoy the various ministries in dance, song and music – and they were not disappointed.

Making her mark was Michelle Garvey who first made her appearance on stage years ago at the Community Independence talent show representing the parish of St George. She gave a powerful performance with The Blood and There’s Something About That Name. Garvey paved the way for an awesome evening by both local and international artistes who all made a contribution to the event which was sponsored by the Barbados Public Workers Credit Union.
