NICHOLLS Baking Combermere continued their dominance of school cricket when they whipped Alleyne by 44 runs to win the Barbados Cricket Association Everton Weekes Under-13 final at Kensington Oval yesterday.

Sent in on a hard pitch which had plenty of green grass, the lads from Waterford, after an opening partnership of 37 between Mathew Forde (12) and Amari Goodridge (20), suddenly found themselves 41 for three. The innings was then given a much needed spark by all-rounder Kai Rollins, who top scored with 33, which included three fours. Rollins and captain Seth Agard rebuilt the innings with a vital 46-run partnership.

After Agard was dismissed in the 22nd over, Combermere steadily declined and were bowled out for 121 in 34.5 overs.
