Father charged in connection with baby’s death

A ST THOMAS man has been remanded to the Psychiatric Hospital on a charge of manslaughter in relation to the death of his infant daughter.

He is 23-year-old Akida Bradshaw of Sturges who appeared in the District “D” Magistrates’ Court.

According to police, three-month-old Akela Bradshaw was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on May 2 in an unconscious state and subsequently died. (PR/NB)
