PUPILS of St Giles Primary School gave a big welcome to a special visitor yesterday.

Governor General Sir Elliott Belgrave, The Ivy, St Michael school’s guest of honour, was welcomed with a guard of honour  by the Brownies and Cub Scouts.

He was also entertained with music, song and drama.

After the formalities, Sir Elliott met some of the pupils and engaged them in conversation.
