Parents, child care workers advised to ask for help

ASK FOR HELP.

That was the message to parents and workers who offer care to children at different levels from director of the Child Care Board (CCB) Joan Crawford.

She delivered remarks at a parenting workshop at the Barbados Hilton today, which forms part of activities for Child Month.

Acknowledging that raising children was one of the toughest jobs they would ever encounter, Crawford told parents they did not have to do it alone and encouraged them to seek the resources of agencies like the CCB and PAREDOS whenever they felt like they were at their wits’ end. (YB)
