IT WAS A COMMUNITY affair as scores of residents of the Cane Garden, St Thomas, neighbourhood joined with the Burton family yesterday to search for missing Javan Burton.

The 21-year-old left his home on Monday May 4 around 9:30 a.m. and has not returned since.javan-burton

The residents, including Javan’s mother Marsha, uncle Omar Clarke and younger brother Jaleel, armed with flyers with information on him, travelled by foot and some by vehicles throughout Cane Garden, Bibby’s Lane, Welchman Hall, Melrose, Arthur Seat as well as Sharon in an effort to find him.

It was an effort organised by the community watch led by chairman Richard Chase, and it earned the appreciation of Marsha. (SDB Media)
