The hillside at Morgan Lewis is now even more beautiful with the planting of an additional 10 trees at the St Andrew location.
Yesterday, members from the Barbados Future Centre Trust (BFCT) watched as Prime Minister David Thompson’s daughters Oya and Misha planted the first five trees, in the absence of their mother Mara, who is the patron of the event.
According to Kammie Holder of the BFCT, the trees were planted as part of an ongoing reforestation project in Barbados and as part of the International Day of Climate Action.
