Children tap into history

Schoolchildren and adults got a sense of old Barbadiana yesterday, handling some of the home implements of the past. It was open day at the Barbados Museum. 
The exhibition was in celebration of International Museum Day, observed on May 18 by museums across the world.
Visitors to the Barbados Museum got the opportunity to touch and operate things like the potter machine and old standpipe during the three hour-long guided tours that began at 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m.
