Thousands of walkers and runners, even babies in strollers and some pets braved the afternoon heat to participate in the Ship Inn Fun Run.
The annual charity event attracted 35 000 people and kicked off in front of the Barbados Fire Service headquarters on Probyn Street, The City just after 4 p.m. It culminated at The Ship Inn in St Lawrence Gap, Christ Church.
