Some Crop Over events promoters are today still in the dark and unsure about parties planned for this weekend.
And at least one event has been shelved.
Despite the mad scramble yesterday to secure the entertainment licence needed to hold events, some promoters did not make it in time.
They were caught by surprise by a new requirement to obtain the licence through the Town Planning Department. (CM)
