Employees?at Hooper Garment Factory were working feverishly from early yesterday morning in an effort to have scores of uniforms completed in time for the new school term.
The doors to the factory were locked and bolted three weeks ago as a result of a legal dispute. The situation upset many parents who had made deposits to have uniforms made for their children.
Yesterday manager Willie Gittens told the WEEKEND?NATION that his attorneys had taken the matter to court and he had received permission to reopen the business.
Gittens said his dedicated staff would be working overtime if necessary to have the uniforms done.
Here, workers to the task.
