Against unions?

ONGOING RESEARCH is showing the hotel industry in Barbados remains anti-trade union.
But Barbados Hotel & Tourism Association (BHTA) president Colin Jordan has challenged the findings.
National Union of Public Workers (NUPW) delegate Joyann Inniss said that from her findings so far hotel managers preferred policies prior to unionization, suggesting hotel managers thought unionized workers tended to rock the boat.
Her research is in occupational psychology and specifically the hotel industry’s attitude to unions. (CA)
