ONE COMPLETED ENTRY FORM was all it took for Ann-Maria Hunte to be the lucky winner of the Hott 95.3 FM Watch The Throne promotion.
When Hunte bought a pair of shoes from D’s Mega Styles Inc. last month, the FirstCaribbean International Bank processing officer received a single entry, which she filled out and dropped in.
“I just filled out the entry form but I didn’t really expect to win anything,” she said.
Hunte won an all-expense paid trip to Dallas, Texas, to see Jay-Z and Kanye West perform in the Watch The Throne tour. Her prize includes airfare, accommodation, US$200 spending money and concert tickets for the show to be held at the American Airlines Centre in Dallas.
Hunte will be taking her lucky friend Keiton Browne along with her for this trip. Hunte admitted she was not a big Jay-Z or Kanye West fan but said she was still very excited to be taking the trip and she intended to go on YouTube to catch up on the music so that she would be well prepared for the show.
Hunte leaves for Dallas on Monday to enjoy the show on Tuesday before she returns to Barbados on Wednesday.
Vilmore Johnson, assistant advertising manager of promotions at Starcom Network said the Watch The Throne promotion replaces last year’s Take It To The Hoop promotion. (PR)
