Duty Free Day was launched today in Bridgetown to the delight of thousands of shoppers.
Crowds started congregating in front of Cave Shepherd from as early at 5:30 a.m, with the expectation that the store would be opened for 6 a.m.  But due to labour  laws the stores could not be opened until 7 a.m.
The delay did not dampen the spirits of shoppers who quickly flooded the store in hopes of taking advantage of the $1 000 per person duty free allowance.
