UWI extend lead in Elite Division

SAGICOR UWI maintained their 100 per cent winning record after completing a fourth successive victory yesterday and significantly extended their lead in the LIME Elite Division cricket competition.
    In defeating E.S.A. Field Pickwick, who trailed them by ten points at the start of the match, three-time defending champions UWI moved to 72 points – 25 more than joint second Pickwick, ICBL Empire and TeleBarbados Carlton, who all have 47 points.
Empire and Carlton also registered victories yesterday, while Police slumped to their fourth straight defeat.
