Family members of a St George man killed in a car accident with a horse yesterday are asking the owners of the animal to come forward.
They are concerned that what happened to their loved one David McCartney Hurley, of South District, St George, could happen to someone else if animals are left unattended near the roadside.
Hurley, 38, died on the spot after his car and the horse collided just after midnight on Edgerton Road, St George. The horse was also killed.
Hurley’s family was still in shock over the untimely death when a DAILY NATION team visited the home. (AH)
