MARIELLE WILKIE is doing her best to represent Barbados in China at the Miss World pageant to be held on August 16.
When asked about her time in China so far, Marielle told the SUNDAY SUN:?“Where do I start? Miss World has been such an amazing experience so far. I can definitely say that my life has been changed forever. I’ve met some amazing people from all walks of life! These girls are all so beautiful inside and out.
“Every day has been so busy so I don’t get a chance to miss Barbados. But I am truly doing my best to make everyone proud and to represent my country here in China.
So far the Bajan beauty has participated in the Miss World Beauty Final last Friday and has the Miss World Sportswomen Final (Miss World library donation) tomorrow. Next up will be the Miss World Talent Show Final on Friday and the Miss World Top Model Final next Sunday.
Marielle was specially selected, along with Miss Colombia, to host a segment with Miss World TV while on tour in Changshu last Sunday.
They visited Zeng-Zhao Gardens and Shanghu Lake. (NSH)
