He is no longer in their lives and no longer able to “share lots of jokes” with them, but amidst the tears, they are still laughing because that is what he would have wanted them to do.
Monday morning, just hours into his 57th birthday, Charles Henderson Smith of Flaffstaff, St Michael, was discovered lying unconscious on Pebbles Beach after allegedly suffering a seizure.
He died on his way to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Smith’s right hand was deformed, but according to his family, he was an exceptional recreational artist and had gone to the St Michael beach to paint using a brand new art kit given by a sister who resides in New York.
At the home of Smith’s sister Zeta Adamson a MIDWEEK NATION team found the close-knit family saddened by their loss, but still comforted by fond memories of the deceased. (AH)
