Thousands of fans left Kensington Oval with a sour taste in their mouths after last Sunday’s Cohobblopot never reached boiling point.
In fact, the only thing boiling were the fans, after headline act Mr Crop Over Hit Rick appeared on stage an hour after his scheduled performance, and had hardly performed for 40 minutes before his act was cut.
A disappointed Rick did not even get the chance to “leggo yet!” as he had done throughout the season, “shelling down” every fete at which he appeared.
So fed up were the fans that a new group was formed on Facebook in the wee hours of the morning just after the show.
The group A Call To Have The NCF Barbados Revamped Before Crop Over Dies had nearly 700 members when the MWIDWEEK NATION checked yesterday after 1 p.m. (CAT)
