And an American expert in the field of emotional intelligence Tim Saunders said if companies paid more attention to the “mood state” in their enterprises, it would help improve productivity and better the customer experience.
Sanders, who will deliver a presentation on Emotional Talent: The Final Leadership Frontier tomorrow, gave a preview today to sponsors and members of the media during a session at the Central Bank.
Sanders, however, cautioned against being disingenuous about liking people noting that a fake smile was easily detected.
