Still?proclaiming that he was the rightful owner of the lands at Sunset Crest, St James, property owner Joe Jordan flexed his muscles yesterday and removed an iron gate across the Sunset Crest Beach Club complex.
Waving his conveyance and title deed, an upset Jordan told the WEEKEND?NATION that the conveyance clearly stated that no property along Sunset Crest should be enclosed.
“This is the second time that I am removing this gate. Let them take me to court. I?don’t care. This is a right of way to the beach for us property owners,” said Jordan, who accused the Sunset Crest Property Owners Association of refusing to acknowledge that he was the owner of all the common lands –  rights of way, easements and quasi easements – in the area.
Sunset Crest is made up of condominiums, private homes and businesses. (MB)
