Man charged with firearm offences

Shain Jabar Joseph, age 27, of 3rd Avenue Chapman Lane, St. Michael was arrested and charged for the offences of: illegal possession of a .22 rifle; illegal possession of 8 rounds of assorted ammunition; possession of cannabis.
Members of the Anti-Gun Unit and other members of the Force executed a warrant at Joseph’s residence at Joseph at Chapman Lane when the rifle and illegal drug were discovered.
Joseph is expected to appear at the District A Magistrate Court.
