This country’s No. 1 pro bodybuilder Lyndon Belgrave will give an exhibition tonight at the season-ending Michael Riley Classic at Foundation School.
Belgrave, fresh from flexing muscle in Las Vegas back in September at the newly created 212-and-Under weight class of the Olympia, will guest-pose at the annual classic named after Riley, a former Barbados and Caribbean divisional champion.
Defending champion Andre “Rockers”?Eversley and Jason Bowen are the ones to watch in the open contest.
In last year’s edition,?Eversley of the Rendezvous-based Big Ken Gym won a showdown with Nicholas Benjamin of Flawless Concepts, and Cyprian Mallett of Big Ken’s Gym came third.
It is unsure whether Benjamin or Mallett is taking to the stage today.
Kino Gill, Dave Farmer and Cole Yates are among the field that will be battling it out in what should be a hard-fought gym show.
Meanwhile, Lodge schoolgirl Rashida Gill is the favourite in the bikini competition.
Dynamic eight-year-old Edon Springer, the son of 1993 Caribbean middleweight champion Clavis Springer, is expected to excite fans once more with a guest-posing routine.
The St Cyprian’s student thrilled fans with some breathtaking moves at the recent Mr Schoolboy competition at Lester Vaughan Secondary School. (MK)
