FLYING FISH & COU COU: Call for the miracle man

Talks are on to get a certain miracle worker to do his magic. The question is whether it may be too little, too late.
Cou Cou understands that the mastermind behind several victories here and in other places is to be approached to help the flagging cause.
Discussions at the highest level have taken place to get the doubting Thomases to welcome him on board and listen to his message.
Those pushing for this individual’s inclusion insist that it cannot be business as usual. Hard decisions have to be made and actions taken if victory is to be secured.
It is known this miracle man will be active in helping his favourites, including a former heir apparent, but how much he can do in the six to 18 weeks left for the overall team is questionable. But insiders feel his experience is too valuable for him to be ignored, even at this hour.
What is certain though is that just his presence will be enough to sober up any drinker of see-through rum and make them think seriously about what they’re doing.
Candidate letting it slip
How could a candidate trying to unseat a titan allow his poster to fade to the point that it is near unrecognizable? And how could he keep the poster up, even though it spoils the new paint job he recently had done on his office?
Has the politico allowed this situation to occur because he is suggesting that, like the poster, his candidacy has no potency? Or is it a case that he is so busy trying to unseat his giant rival that he has not bothered to look at a “little” thing like his image?
It seems this man, who is often mesmerized by the misadventures of Willie Worm, does not realize that how people view you is as important as what you say to them and how you say it.
Maybe when he understands that he will realize it takes more than attending funerals, choral recitals, school outings and sponsoring teams to ingratiate yourselves with voters.
Guessing game
People within a certain professional group are wondering who are the principals behind a particular organization that recently took over a major symbol in their line of work.
Apparently, the name of the company identified as the new owners is also the initials of two individuals rumoured to be quietly working together.
What has the information-seeking people so transfixed on the matter too is that the professional up front has been scaling down his own operation and, given the investment there, speculation is rife that this person is having financial difficulties. But from nowhere the person popped up as part of the purchase.
Others in the profession though are dismissing this speculation as just old talk. They contend that both individuals are two savvy to ever make such a simplistic error as using their initials to name a company. They contend that people are taking a six for a nine.
