Broad Street, in front of Cave Shepherd, set the stage for LIME Christmas carolling as the local telecommunications company hosted a singing flash mob in The City yesterday.
The five-minute session was the company’s way of saying “Merry Christmas” to all of its customers and Barbados, and also served as an opportunity to give away its branded umbrellas.
Scores of participants dressed in LIME T-shirts lined the streets and sang Joy To The World while a bicycle-drawn carriage carrying
Santa Claus and Mrs Claus made its way up Broad Street.
Head of marketing Rachel Pilgrim said the aim was to get shoppers on Broad Street singing the Christmas carol with the flash mob. (LK)
