There’s a well known saying: “Where there’s a will, there’s a way.”
And at Wills Primary Schools sports, Green House finally found the way.
It may have taken them 15 years, but Green finally captured their first inter-house title when the school held its annual sports at the Coverley playing field on Friday.
Their grand total of 844 points was good enough to catapult them to pole position, with Red finishing a close second on 823 points.
Blue (741 points) finished in third position, while defending champions Yellow had to settle for fourth this time around, ending the day with 615 points.
Despite not winning the overall title, Red produced both the top male and female athletes.
Competing in the Under-11 divisions, Christiann Alleyne emerged as the victrix ludorum while Jalen Babb was the victor ludorum. (RB)
