CUSTOMERS of Dacosta Mannings Retail will soon be able to support worthy causes when they purchase products in the company’s new Shop For A Cause programme.
Speaking during the launch at Dacosta Mannings Warrens recently, executive director Paul Rowe said it would be an extension of the company’s usual practice of offering assistance to charities.
Rowe noted that the local and global economic situation had affected businesses’ ability to contribute to worthy causes.
However, he said four international companies – Whirlpool Corporation, Frigidaire, Westpoint, and Serta mattresses and divans – along with local businesses Trowel Plastics, Berger Paints and Harris Paints, had come on board with the programme.  (NB)
